Demyx stalked around the Castle That Never Was, searching for a private place to play his sitar; there was a song running through his head that needed to be played. He laughed and stopped suddenly, he didn’t have to stay in the castle, and he knew exactly where to go, opening a portal with a grin.

Demyx glanced around the deserted beach before summoning his sitar and beginning to play. The time passed quickly, Demyx feverishly playing, his clones joining their master, swaying in time with the music. The music stopped suddenly as Demyx dropped to his knees, exhausted and gasping for breath as he looked over the water, frowning slightly when he thought he saw a flash of red hair disappear under the water. The first person he thought of was Axel, but knew there was no way that red head would go anywhere near the water.

“Is, is someone there?” he called out, slipping his boots off and walking over to the water, reveling in the feeling of the sand between his toes. When there was a sudden splash he turned and surveyed the water. “It’s okay, you can come out. I won’t hurt you,” he promised. When there was no response he sighed, “Wanna hear a song?” he bribed, pulling his sitar closer.

The song was a hauntingly sad one of broken promises and a heart that no longer existed. Demyx poured everything he had into the melody, never noticing the mermaid that was watching from behind a large rock, tears streaming down her face.

“That was beautiful,” Ariel said softly once the music had ended. She smiled sadly, quickly ducking under the water and swimming away when he looked her direction. Demyx smiled at the sight of a fin under the water and the thought that his music may have touched at least one person.

Oh my God! I love that movie for LIFE.
Unfortunatly the 'Bet On It' golf course dance has made me cringe on numerous occasions.
But it is good entertainment.
Also, 'I Don't Dance' is the greatest song ever.

I completely agree. My roomie and I totally giggled though the golf course dance... what the hell was up with that?

And yeah, I Don't Dance is awesome. (the roomie ships Chad/Ryan so it's like her favorite cause they're wearing each others clothes afterward)

I watched it with my dance group. We just kind of stared at each other, and then laughed. A lot xD

Me and my friend ship Chad/Troy, because the subtext is just there! (I use "What are those two boys doin' in a tree! from HSM 1 as an example xD) Though I am slowly coming around on the Chad/Ryan... THough I still find it a little weird xD

I want to write a fic in which Demyx is a merman on Atlantica and is love with Ariel, and her leaving was kind of... the grief that caused him to give over to darkness. Something like that.
